How to Use Tag Search
- Click in a tag field (e.g., Instruments)
- Start typing - autocomplete suggestions will appear
- Select from existing tags or press Enter to add
- Add multiple tags to narrow your search
- Click the X on any tag to remove it
Results Table Columns
The search results table includes several columns with abbreviated headers:
- B (Bookable): Indicates if the artist or band is available for bookings
- C (Collaboration): Shows if the artist or band is open for collaboration
- P (Public): Shows the profile visibility status (only visible to logged-in users)
Click on any column header to sort the results by that attribute.
Combining Filters
You can combine multiple filters for very specific searches. For example:
- Search for "Jazz" + Instrument: "Saxophone" + Bookable checkbox = bookable jazz saxophonists
- Artists + Skill: "Mixing" + Equipment + Professional = professional mixing engineers with equipment
Tips for Best Results
- Start with broader searches and add filters to refine
- Use tag fields for standardized terms (instruments, genres, skills)
- Use the text search for names or free-form keywords
- Remember: More filters = fewer results (but more specific)
The Complex filters section can be collapsed by clicking on its header again. Your filter selections are preserved.
