Munich Musicians Database is built by the community, for the community. Our mission is to become the go-to hub where musicians find each other to launch projects, share skills and grow together.
What is MMDB?
MMDB is a database to bring the community closer together. To generate an understanding who is on the scene and available for who and what. It’s a resource to find and be found.
- Connect to fellow musicians and kickstart new projects together.
- Show what you play, your style / genre preferences—what you love and what you don’t.
- Offer or find services and collaborations, from mixing to songwriting and beyond.
- Let others know if you rent or lend gear, and list what equipment you have.
- Make it clear whether you or your band/project are available for bookings.
- Choose whether your profile and band/project pages are public so that booking agents can find you – or members-only.
- The more you share and participate, the more valuable this platform becomes for everyone.
What is MMDB not?
MMDB purely is a place to connect, find and be found. It is not meant to be a platform for sharing your music or your videos, but it can bring users to places where you provide this. It also is not an event planning tool or diary. And it deliberatly is not a social media platform.
Is MMDB safe to use?
MMDB is hosted in a German data center and developed using the highest security standards. Every information you put in is voluntary, except for your email, which we use to send you notification, like when you create a band and manage its members.
We also provide a public “Get In Touch” button, where booking agents or anyone interested in you and your music can send you a message by email.
But the most important thing: Your personal data will never be shared with anyone!
