MMDB Community Update

You landed a gig? Awesome! Then make sure everyone knows about it. With MMDB, your performance goes online in just a few minutes – visible to the entire community or even the whole world.

Here’s how to create your own event

  • If you haven’t done so yet, enable the “Become an Organizer” add-on in your preferences (⚙️)
  • Navigate to “Events”. There you will now find the Event Manager.

Click in the Event Manager on “Create New Event” and fill out the form:

  • Add title, description, and optionally an image
  • Select whether you are performing as a solo artist or as a band under “Offering event as”
  • Select visibility: “Community” or “Public”
  • Activate the option “Announcement Only”
  • Enter location and date(s)
  • Click on “Save & Publish”

Community or Public – what’s the difference?

Community shows your event only to logged-in MMDB members. Public makes it visible to everyone – even to visitors without an account and search engines. If you want maximum reach, choose “Public”.

Rock on, Alex & Ryan

💡
Did you know? You can copy your own event at any time with “Duplicate” if you regularly play in similar locations – this saves you from having to fill out the form again.
