You landed a gig? Awesome! Then make sure everyone knows about it. With MMDB, your performance goes online in just a few minutes – visible to the entire community or even the whole world.
Here’s how to create your own event
- If you haven’t done so yet, enable the “Become an Organizer” add-on in your preferences (⚙️)
- Navigate to “Events”. There you will now find the Event Manager.
Click in the Event Manager on “Create New Event” and fill out the form:
- Add title, description, and optionally an image
- Select whether you are performing as a solo artist or as a band under “Offering event as”
- Select visibility: “Community” or “Public”
- Activate the option “Announcement Only”
- Enter location and date(s)
- Click on “Save & Publish”
Community or Public – what’s the difference?
Community shows your event only to logged-in MMDB members. Public makes it visible to everyone – even to visitors without an account and search engines. If you want maximum reach, choose “Public”.

You can copy your own event at any time with “Duplicate” if you regularly play in similar locations – this saves you from having to fill out the form again.
