MMDB Community Update
The MMDB looks different starting now – and significantly more modern. Finally. While we previously focused on building functionality, everything now has a face. We also took the opportunity to tidy up the user interface. Here are the key points at a glance.
New: the “Discover” menu
Instead of Search, Events, and Heatmap, there is now a common menu called Discover. There, you’ll find everything in tabs all in one place:
- the search for musicians, bands, and projects
- the events including application options
- the heatmap
And the best part: If you are logged in, the system remembers what you last viewed and opens exactly that upon your next visit. This means your calendar preference will always be retained in the future.
Everything important under your avatar
All other important menu items – profile, bands/projects, account, settings & more – are now located under your avatar at the top right. We have also grouped the input fields more clearly. Feel free to explore – you’ll quickly find out where everything is located.
And what’s under the hood?
There has also been a lot of progress: A few new features are already in the pipeline and will be released soon. So it’s worth staying tuned. Stay tuned!
