MMDB Community Update
There’s a small but nice new feature in the MMDB – and it only takes 30 seconds to enter it in your profile. From now on, you can specify in your profile whether you play Covers, Original Songs, or Both.
What’s new?
Both Musician Profiles and Band Profiles now include a new field for your repertoire. You just select what applies to you:
- Only Covers – you interpret well-known songs
- Only Original Songs – you are performing original material
- Both – covers and original songs in your program
What’s it good for?
Simply put: more relevant requests for you. Those who search in the MMDB – such as event organizers or workshop providers – often have a clear idea. A wedding band search needs covers; a songwriting festival is looking for originals. The more accurate your profile, the more targeted you will be in the right search results – and the fewer inquiries that don’t match you.
How do you enter it?
Quick and easy:
- Log in at mmdb.musoc.de
- Edit your profile (Musician and/or Band)
- Select in the new field Covers / Original Songs / Both
- Save – done!
The more complete your profiles are, the better the whole community search works – for you and for everyone who wants to find you. Log in briefly and check the box. 🎸
