These Terms of Use apply to individuals who register and create a profile in the Indie Munich Musicians Database (“the Database”). This is a private, non-commercial service provided by the operator referred to here as the Provider of this service.
1. Voluntary Participation
Participation is entirely voluntary. By creating a profile, you agree to the storage and use of your submitted data in accordance with these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. No Warranty
This service is provided as-is without any guarantee of availability, continuity, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. You use this service entirely at your own risk.
3. No Commercial Use
This service is intended for networking and collaboration within the independent music community in and around Munich. Any form of commercial exploitation, automated scraping, or unauthorized data reuse is strictly prohibited.
4. User Responsibilities
By submitting a profile, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Only upload images you are authorized to use
- Not impersonate other individuals or entities
- Refrain from uploading abusive, offensive, or discriminatory content
5. Privacy & Deletion
You have full control over your personal data:
- You may delete your profile and all related data at any time via the built-in GDPR-compliant deletion function.
- Once deleted, your profile and its visibility within the directory will be permanently and irreversibly removed.
- All functionality associated with your account will immediately cease upon deletion.
- Full details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
6. Use of Content
You retain ownership of all content you submit (texts, photos, links). By entering data into the system, you grant the Provider a non-exclusive right to display the content within the scope of this service.
7. Moderation & Removal
The Provider reserves the right to remove or deactivate profiles that:
- Are clearly false or misleading
- Violate applicable law or these Terms
- Contain spam, hate speech, or abusive content
There is no obligation to notify users in advance of such actions.
8. Free of Charge
The service is provided free of charge for the time being. The Provider reserves the right to introduce optional premium features in the future.
9. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated. Continued use after any such update indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Jurisdiction is Munich, Germany.
